Happy holidays, friends! This holiday season feels a little rough, but I’m muddling through. I hope you’re all doing well. It hasn’t helped that I missed PR on Wednesday, though I did have Gennafun instead, so that wasn’t so bad. But every time I’ve tried to catch the Runway since Wed, I’ve ended up trapped in Orange County. I admit I sort of feel the show, but I don’t understand how they’re “housewives” when all of them seem to work and some of them are single.

Anyway, I wish everyone a very merry and safe end of 2007 and hope that those that can, stop by my NYE festa. And maybe those who can’t be there can give me some suggestions on how to throw one of these. So far, these are my ideas: drinks, music, friends. What am I missing? I’ll report back on whether this brainiac idea of mine was successful. At least Gracie and I have NYE plans this year!

Also, if you get a chance, check out the films slated for Sundance 2008. I’m fairly petrified, but excited, about my January adventure.

Lucky for you, PR was a repeat this week! And will be next week. So you missed nothing and don’t have to fret about that anymore.

As for your New Year’s Party, I sure wish I could celebrate with you and puppy. I’ve never really thrown one myself, but I have to say that I really only have two words that can assuredly brighten any fest – Purple Rain. Try it out!

    Happy Everything everybody!

Brilliant! I didn’t miss a thing. Well, that might be going a little far. Purple Rain. I think I can make that happen. Thanks!

i think the bells mini-keg may just be the key to the party. and i’ll be there, which is probably even more the key to a good party.

Okay, this goes back to wire talk b/c i missed those comments on the last post.

First, db, the final season premieres January 6 (not 7). Wouldn’t want you to miss it.

Second, if you go to HBO.com they have little videos you can watch about prop joe and omar. and some more stuff that talks about how great the show is. and probably many of you saw this, but the new yorker had an article also talking about how wonderful it is.

finally, miss lloyd, you may borrow my wire. we are currently rewatching the whole thing prior to Jan 6 (could be tight) but we can work it out.

who is everyone’s favorite character? mine changes all the time, but right now it’s bodie.

Happy Holidays everyone! I think the NYE party is going to rock! I need to stop now because I don’t need to show everyone that I really don’t have other things to do on christmas eve.

So, due to everyone’s silence (minus one — thanks Fee) I’m thinking that the best NYE party entails drinks, friends and playing Purple Rain on a loop the whole night. Get ready, guests! This is going to be awesome.
