    WOOOOOOO!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!

Occasionally today, in class, I’ve just shouted OBAMA!!!!

That map looks so awesome, partly because you drew it so well, of course, but also because of all of that blue! I love it. I’m unofficially calling North Carolina for Obama, too.

    We sure f&%king did.

I think Kayt’s avatar is the weirdest one yet.

Yeah, NC’s gotta be blue. I think I’m out of blue chalk, though. He really swept that thing — at least electoral-college-wise. I mean, that shit is BLUE.

I’m feeling post-election confusion, though. What do I read on the web? Yesterday, I was reduced to watching Welcome Back, Kotter episodes.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Love it. And yes, NC is totally blue.

I have a whole weekend of nothing ahead of me and it will be so weird to watch movies and clean my house and cook and stuff. Stuff I haven’t done in months!

    YES WE DID!!!!!!!

I saved the abridged Audible version of Barak reading “dreams from my father” for this…although I will admit yesterday, while sick, to watching the Daily Show live coverage again…

I need a dining room table because I’m hosting Thanksgiving and my table is just too small. So, instead of working full-steam ahead on my brief, I’ve been working half-steam and searching all day for a table. My favorite one for under $1k was found at CB2, but it was still $800. Too rich for my poor blood. So, I was resigning myself to the idea of buying a picnic table and painting it. At least it would come with seating. But now I just went for it: I bought a table on clearance from the Pottery Barn. It was only $299 (though they nailed me with the shipping) and it comes with this odd built-in ice bucket-y trough-type thing. I hope it works. Thoughts?

Kids, this blog is eerily quiet as of late.

    Congrats on your bargain! Trough?

Dining furniture is crazy expensive, no? As it happens, we just invested in dining furniture 2 weeks ago after shopping everywhere, not liking anything (no square tables, no counter height, thank you), and being appalled at prices. Finally got 7 pieces for under $700 at Home Concepts of all places. I am glad that is over.

Oh, wow. That is a good deal. I know — I was talking to my mom yesrerday and she started saying something like, “Well, you know that round oak table that I…” and I had to cut her off. No round, no oak. Thanks!

The trough is weird and so that peeps still want to come over from time to time, I should probably stop calling it that. PB calls it a built-in centerpiece ice bucket. It’s long, though. But it can be covererd up, as well. We’ll see. Could make a fun and functional New Years party item: easily accesible and chilled champagne.

Ok, I’m sad about the lack of comments, but I realize a map doesn’t provide a lot of fodder for discussion. I’m off to a conference in Elkhart Lake for the rest of the week. Maybe it’ll give me some good material. Take care, all.

And I’m still crying over the Packers’ loss.

I always LOVE reading the blog but feel I have little to say. (you guys are so clever) I saw the map in person and it was awesome. And all that blue!
Is everyone really sick of the post-election interviews with Palin. Yuk. Enough.

TV Shows on DVD need not constitute just canceled series.
JUSTIN BIEBER was beaten through to the newest episode of “Family Guy,” based on entertainment news.
