I haven’t posted in so long for a couple of reasons: (1) I’ve been uberbusy with work and budget madness and (2) I’m completely boring and have almost nothing to say.
Despite both of those things, I’m here now. And here are a few things that are on my mind: (1) Sarayu’s episode of HawthoRNe airs tonight on TNT (we can discuss her acting chops tomorrow); (2) the first of two “reunion” Real Housewives of New Jersey is on at the same time; (3) I’ve really warmed to the RHONJ in that while they are completely totally bonkers, the drama is really outstanding and, of all the RHs, they seem to be the most true to being housewives; (4) animal rights people can be pretty weird and (5) what the hell is the latest with Favre?
I’ll take my answers off the air.
Dearheart, no one will ever accuse you of being boring or of having nothing to say! And sigh, now I’ll have to start watching more TV — it was your blog that started me on Project Runway you know!
I didn’t know that! How exciting!
You know, I was just thinking last night of OSC and missing it. And you are so right — the reason I left was because Bob put the fear of layoffs into me. Ugh. I’m so gullible. Just kidding; I do think he really feared them.
Anyway, I thought the reunion episode last night was pretty much a bore. I think they’re saving the juicy stuff for Thursday.
Did everyone see Sarayu last night on HawthoRNe? I was not so much a fan of the show (a little boring and cliched), but Ms. Rao was divine. I’m thinking Emmy nomitation.
I missed HawthoRNe! I bet they’ll replay it? I need some good summer TV.
Apparently I need to start watching these Real Housewives. I never have before.
Come back! Things are good here — he never makes anyone leave and we can work at home 2 days a week — may increase to 3. And I miss you and so need normal co-workers!
Why I am stuck with this weird bug with bunny ears as my symbol?
Are we allowed to discuss the brilliant call you had about reptile rights? Because I think that is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.
Gretchen– in my opinion, the only reason to have a blog is to avoid the wierd bug symbols.
You have been SO busy it’s insane. I continue to be out of the “RH” loop,” but I back you %100 on the weirdness of animal rights activists. They seem to love to take things come across totally crazy, while believing they are completely sane.
Stay tuned for a post tomorrow about the inanity of being on boards…And more about the crazy animal rights lady I screamed at today. Ok, not screamed at, but gave her a good talking-to.
And Gretchen, I think your weird bunny-eared-bug is kinda cute and funny. He’s totally dancing and in good spirits. On the other hand, Sarayu’s blob appears to be barfing.
Gross.
Hee hee.
Ok, I lied. No new post today. I’m too exhausted. Had too much to drink at the union meeting — liquid courage and all. And it’s Friday and no one needs my two cents.
Joe has been telling me about some Packer tee shirts that Sconnie Nation is selling like hotcakes. Apparently, they say “We’ll never forget you, Brent”. Pretty funny.
I know! They’re completely hilarious, don’t you think? I really want one.
Are you working?
