Did everyone see the Packer game? While they looked nervous to me, I’m super super super happy with the result and have high (crossing my fingers) hopes for this season! Yay football!
Why is it so hot out and will it ever rain again? Marinate on those questions, if you will.

Sh!t. I know. I’m sorry. That was seriously insensitive of me.
First off, peeps — Kristin had an intense dream a bit ago that she and Swayze were very much in love. Second off, I am truly sad about this. He always seemed like such a nice man. I remember my dad thinking he was really great after a Barbara Walters special eons ago. On the Today show this morning, they called him a dancing cowboy, which I thought was quite sweet. I hadn’t realized that he was not doing well — I thought he had beaten it. Poor guy. And poor Swayze family.
I did hear ‘time of our lives’ on the radio today and got a little teary.
i haven’t seen pr, but did you guys realize that top chef is on? i just saw the 1st episode. it seemed fine, but didn’t really grab me.

I haven’t cried yet. Although I did cry, a lot, during the final scene of DD when I watched it a week or so ago. That movie is just so great you guys!!
Oh Patrick Swayze. What a nice man, and what a lovely couple. D@mn pancreatic cancer – it must be stopped. I can’t believe he did so well for so long. I love Dirty Dancing (and can lay claim to having participated in a reenactment of the entire ending during our 1989 dance recital), and Ghost, and Point Break. It’s not a crime to die doing what you love.

Kate, I am barely kicking your butt in FF. 😉 It was kind of hard to watch the Packers on Sunday – wtf offense? Where did our preseason heroes go? Makes me a little nervous. Which is de rigeur for watching the Packers – you can never just relax and watch.
Totally, Sara. Sunday night was a bit painful. That preseason offense was just not on the field, which makes me think they were nervous. I’ve never seen Driver drop so many balls. And Rodgers was kinda off until the brilliant pass at the end. I’m hoping with a W under their belts, they’ll feel more confident and play the way I just know they can.
The fantasy football thing has me so uber-conflicted. I didn’t pick any of them! And I’m having trouble standing by my principles and getting rid of Peterson. He’s going to make Favre look pretty good this season if Sunday’s game was any indication.
I think I need to do a better post soon. And I need to watch last week’s PR. The thing about having it on lifetime seems to be it isn’t rerun every other hour.
