Sarayu and I are not the only ones that noticed the fun that is/was ‘Best Friends Forever.’ Thanks to the GAOOG for pointing this article out to me. It makes me feel both gratified and sad.

That’s exactly how I felt. It was good to know someone else agreed (and am I wrong in thinking it might be a man? If so, I find that slightly impressive for such a female-targeted show) and yet, I was sad to know others were also sad to lose the show. How can anything do well in just four episodes? With so much programming both on network and cable, and DVR’s, that’s beyond unreasonable. Be. Yond.
Everyone needs to just chill out and give the quality shows some growing room, dammit.
Especially with such little promotion! I mean, we all know I watch a LOT of tv and the only reason I checked it out was because I saw it in the ‘on demand’ menu and it sounded like the show you auditioned for. And then we texted about it so I watched it again (because, folks, I was a little out of it the first time I watched it — have I mentioned I had a baby?). I’m really disappointed in NBC. Why produce such a fun, potentially great new show if you’re not going to do anything to get it off the ground? I. Don’t. Get. It.
