More proof that Ebert was a gift from above

Aaron sent me this a few weeks ago and, for reasons I can’t fully explain, I just got to reading it today. Oh, Roger. Thank you.

This movie doesn’t scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn’t the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn’t below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.

Good God. And then there’s this.

That was fun! Although I gotta disagree about The Usual Suspects and Tommy Boy. Oh ok, and I also love The Blue Lagoon.

    🙂

I was surprised to see The Usual Suspects on there! I thought that was kinda universally loved. I admit, though, that every time I’ve tried to watch it recent years I almost immediately lose interest. That has more to do with me, though, I think.

The sportswriter article made me cry. Oh, Roger. Everyone loved you so much.
