Ok, here we go . . .

I think I need to reinvent this thing.

{Major props to Mags for telling me her bookmark order. It’s making me think.}

So, to that end, let’s try this. Five things that are interesting this week that have nada to do with the White House and, as far as I can tell, aren’t storm-related. Thoughts?

  • Peter Kraus. Please discuss because I can barely handle it.
  • Aaron Rodgers. Could there be more articles written about his greatness? And, oops, Brady!
  • My kid in kindergarten. This week, Aaron asked her why she was so goofy and she said, “I’m goofy because I’m Molly.” Accurate answer, kid.
  • I saw my first rat this week as I biked to work in the pre sunrise hours. I did not enjoy any of this.

Ok. Please discuss any or all of this.

    That rat appearance is disgusting. I hate it that you had to see that. So far, in my long life, I never seen one in person.
    The SSvsVW match was astounding. Some of the best tennis I witnessed. Kinda wish that was the final. Although I love Madison Keys. Eager to watch the final today.
    And Molly’s quote is precious. That article about AR was amazing. He sure seems as if he is a thoughtful guy.

    It’s a good thing the rat was your last point as I would have never gotten past it. Have I ever mentioned my irrational fear of mice/rats? I think it might go back to when I read 1984. At any rate, harmless field mice have me terrorized not to mention what a full-grown rat would do. But putting that aside, I love the Molly answer. So honest and sure of herself, I love it.

    I’m still upset about Peter. I just don’t like Arie. This is going to be a hard Fall.

    Ha! Yeah, the Arie decision strikes me as . . . Odd. Like, he can’t have been their first choice can he? I mean, I’m no Bachelor expert like you, but he seems like a reach.

    It was the first time I’ve seen one in the wild, I think, and I’m truly surprised I didn’t fall off of my bike. They absolutely disgust me, but when it happened it didn’t freak me out quite as much as I expected.
