Been awhile, eh?

Well, not much is new. Work is a drag, winter continues, and my left contact lens is driving me bananas.

Oh! But one thing is very new. We toured Molly’s soon-to-be elementary school yesterday and I thought I’d get all weepy emotional, but I surprised myself. I got so excited for her and for all of us. Oh, le sigh. I can’t WAIT!

And neither can Mollybear! After the tour, she and her Woodland friend with whom she was touring took their own spin around the playground. As they were pumping furiously on the swings, her friend declared, “This is where I go to school now! I don’t go to Woodland Montessori anymore!”

And Molly echoed, “Yeah! We’re almost first graders now!!”
