A big part of what I miss about Gracie is her sense of humor. I thought it was very advanced. It seemed sophisticated, subtle, dry, wry, and clever. Phoebe is so much more . . . literal. And obvious. But I’ve come to appreciate her simple graces, and her sweet attempts at laughs (as I see them). I miss Gracie so much, but I’m grateful Phoebe is here.

Both are great dogs
Gracie really did have most outstanding dry wit. Phoebe is pretty funny too but yes, sure, in a different way. They really both are the best in their own sweet ways.
