A big part of what I miss about Gracie is her sense of humor. I thought it was very advanced. It seemed sophisticated, subtle, dry, wry, and clever. Phoebe is so much more . . . literal. And obvious. But I’ve come to appreciate her simple graces, and her sweet attempts at laughs (as I see them). I miss Gracie so much, but I’m grateful Phoebe is here.
