life and puppies

It’s only November 13, but I’ve already got the winter blues. Or something that looks a whole lot like them. I suppose I get like this every year: when the darkness comes so early, and the sun sometimes doesn’t seem to come at all, it’s easy for me to get a little down. I’m not even down, really, just not up. Or, rather, not so motivated. Not motivated to write, to organize, to sew, to train Phoebe, to clean, to shower (my skin gets so dry this time of year!), to finish projects. All I really want to do is surf the Internet looking for house solutions we can’t afford, watch Damages and cuddle with Bear. Maybe I just need to let myself mourn the election results a little longer. Or maybe I need a swift kick in the keester. Until then, let’s look at One Kings Lane…
